3.2008 – Monterrey to Cuernavaca

February & March 2008 – Monterrey, Ciudad Victoria, Cuernavaca

Greetings Precious Ones,

As always, I want to thank you for your continued support in the mission assignment of OCC (Operation Capital City) in Mexico. There is no way I could take teams to these 32 states and pray for the 5 “pressure points” in each one without your help! It takes “muchissimo” time, effort, energy, prayer, and money.

In February- Pastor Hope Cummins went with me to Saltilllo, Cuahuila for a Board meeting of OCC with Pastor Tony Garcia,Project Director OCC- Mexico, and Pastor Onesimo Roman, who had come to Saltillo from Pachua, Hildago with two pastors. Pastor Onesimo was the main speaker for the state-wide meeting of the Cuahulia Pastors Alliance. I was introduced at that meeting, and the OCC ministry was presented. While in Saltillo, I had the honor of speaking to the Saltillo Pastors Alliance. Later in the week, Pastor Tony Garcia, Pastor Hope Cummins (who so beautifully interprets for me), three other pastors from Saltillo and myself traveled to Monterrey, the capital city of Nueva Leon. There we met with other pastors who prayed with us throughout the city. The next morning we had a breakfast with several other pastors giving us the opportunity to share the broader vision of OCC.

In March, once again I found myself in Mexico, this time in Pachuca, Hildago. I spoke at a conference there at the church of Pastor Onesimo Roman. What a beautiful time we had there! Bonnie Shaffer, (Bonnie and her husband, Stan, are Missionary Pastors from this church…Living Word Church) accompanied me on this trip, and is a strong intercessor, and a real servant! We met many wonderful people there and prayed in many places. Later in the week, I had the opportunity to speak to the state-wide Hidalgo Pastors Alliance and once again shared my vision for Mexico. Always the pastors eagerly receive the vision and seem to want to take “ownership” of it. Later in the week, we traveled to Cuernavaca, the capital city of Morelos, a neighboring state, where I once again presented OCC at their state-wide meeting. Some of the pastors and our group from Hildago proceeded to pray at the pressure points. The group there agreed to continue praying at these points.

The next trip is scheduled for the 8-15 of July at which time I will be taking a team from Victory Christian Center to the states of Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, and Guanajuato. It is my hope that many of the pastors from the previously visited cities will join us there to form a large and diverse team.

Please continue to pray for me, for this mission, for my church and family while I am away and of course for the finances. I appreciate you all so much and love you.

Pastor Carol Missik
